Drive time approximately 4 hours from New Orleans and 9 hours from Houston.
Directions from West (Texas, Louisiana) to East
1. Start out heading I-10 East. (To FLORIDA).
2. Passing through MISSISSIPPI and ALABAMA, then crossing into FLORIDA.
(Approximately 200 miles from New Orleans)
3. From I-10 east take exit #56 - SR-85 South (Crestview/Niceville).
4. From Crestview travel South on SR-85 about 18 miles to SR-20 Niceville.
5. Take a LEFT onto SR-20 (John Sims Parkway) and continue going east about 7 miles.
Follow the signs for the Mid Bay Bridge SR-293.
6. Turn RIGHT on SR-293 (White Point Road) to cross the Mid Bay Bridge ($2.50 Toll).
7. Cross the bridge to the SECOND traffic light. Turn LEFT (Panama City) at Hwy. 98.
8. On Hwy. 98 travel EAST for approximately 6 miles to Sandestin Resort.
9. Turn RIGHT at Sandestin Blvd. South to the Guard’s entrance and proceed to the Hilton.
Directions from East (Georgia, Florida) to West
1. Travel 1-10 West. (To FLORIDA)
2 Exit # 85 Turn LEFT on US 331 (Defuniak Springs / Freeport)
3. Travel on US 331 SOUTH to Hwy. 98.
4. Turn RIGHT on Hwy 98 West approximately 9 miles.
5. Turn LEFT onto Sandestin Boulevard South to the Guard’s entrance and proceed to the Hilton.
